Smoked Trout

Today at lunch in the cafeteria we were talking about different types of food. They mentioned they had trout and asked if I’d had any. I said I love trout, I do, and that there’s smoked trout. So I of course asked what time and where was dinner…

30 minutes later we’re here:
Zordel Fischzucht

Seigfreid got flashed on the way there – probably 20€ ticket, and he bought us some smoked trout. Fabulous!

I know what I’m having for dinner!

    I use google & altavista as a translator…
    http://translate.google.com/
    http://babel.altavista.com/

Sometimes one is better than the other, it’s rather hit or miss…

Well Anthony…I’ve never found smoked trout like what I had while in Germany here in Colorado where I live, so, I have no way to suggest some place local to me.
You’d one, have to find a trout farm, and two, hope they smoke it on site. That’s what was neat about Zordel, it was all right in one spot. Their website doesn’t translate well as they use a lot of images instead of text. I was lucky and was taken there by Germans who translated for me.

Good luck on your smoked trout quest!
